When does the studio open & close?
The studio opens 15 minutes before the first class. Students have 15 minutes to exit the studio after class.
Where is the studio located
We are based at 19 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua. There is parking available directly outside our studio.
How do I access the studio?
Our studio is locked to non-members, on enrolment you will receive an email with the internal door code. When you arrive you can simply let yourself in through the first set of doors then use the code for the internal door.
wHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR/BRING WITH THEM TO CLASS?
Comfortable clothing is best such as leggings, a t-shirt + socks, a water bottle + a handtowel.
CAn I wait in the studio during class?
Unfortunately we don't allow parents/caregivers to wait at the studio while classes are running. We will however, have a showcase at the end of the year so that you can see what your child has been learning.
will you be offering classes for younger kids?
We now accept students as young as 7!
WILL YOU BE OFFERING CLASSES FOR those older than 16?
We already do! Our full-studio timetable accepts those aged 16 + 17 with parental/caregiver consent and everyone 18+ over without parental/caregiver consent. You can view our adult timetable here.
Kids aged 16 - 18 are welcome to continuing enrolling with TCA Kids if they prefer.

DO you offer pole dance classes for under 16?
Pole dance classes are reserved for adults only. Students are welcome to join our adult classes at the age of 16+ with parental/caregiver consent, and the age of 18+ without parental/caregiver consent. You can view our adult timetable here.
will you put on an end of term/year show?
In Term 3 we hope to run a student showcase. We will release more details out as they come.

What happens if my child needs to miss a class?
We understand that sometimes things pop up, if this is a one-off event then there is nothing that you are required to do however if your child will be taking an extended break please let us know via email.
Will I be notified if my child does not show for class?
We take a class roll call for H&S reasons however we do not notify parents/caregivers if their child misses a class. We are happy to provide this information on request if needed.
Can my child attend without me being present?
If your child is walking from school or has travel otherwise arranged this is okay however, as we don't offer an arrival notification service the responsibility of your child's travel, to and from the studio, is yours.
What if my child experiences motion sickness & cannot attend?
It's important to know that training Aerials can induce motion sickness, if your child is prone to motion sickness you may want to think about whether Aerial's is for them. Once term starts we cannot offer refunds if your child cannot continue classes.

how can i enrol my child & make payment?
All of our enrolments are done through our booking system Mindbody. Parents will create a Mindbody account to enrol their Child then payment is taken at the same time via Debit Card or Credit Card. Generally we only accept payment through these means however, if you have a unique situation then please reach out to us via email to discuss.
When can I ENROL MY CHILD?
To get first notification when enrolments open please ensure you are signed up to our mailing list.
What if i enrol, pay & my child cannot attend
If you have enrolled your child and your child can no longer attend, we are happy to do the following as long as 5 days notice, prior to the term start date, has been given;
a) Transfer your child's enrolment to the term following
b) Refund your enrolment fee

Will my child cross paths with students who attend your adult studio?
Kids classes and adult pole dance classes run at different times. We may have the occasional instructor around the studio preparing for classes. However, there will not be any adult pole classes running at the same time that your child attends the studio and children and adults will not be waiting for classes in our student rooms at the same time.
It is important to note that we have a large adult student base and our adult classes contain references not suitable for children. While we have physically separated the 2 groups inside the studio, any content accessed by your children via social media is outside of our control.
